2016 Western Canada Fashion Week

Tonight was the opening night of Western Canada Fashion Week (WCFW) at the ATB Financial Arts Barns near Whyte Avenue in Edmonton.  WCFW runs until March 31 and each night features different collections from designers from all over the world.  Tonight was the emerging designer competition and featured winners of student showcases and school showcases from Est-elle Academy, Eveline Charles, and MC College.  The full schedule of designers can be found on the WCFW website.

It was a great show and I met many fellow photographers who came to photograph all of the beautiful models and fashions.

Congratulations to the organizers and volunteers for putting on a well organized show that was appreciated by everyone in the audience, parents, models and designers.

I will try to post some photos tonight here and on my new Flickr page.  AeroApertures will be shooting all week at the WCFW.  Stay tuned for updates all through the week.

Happy Easter!
